Happy Holidays!

December was spent processing holiday orders, creating albums, and finishing up the last of my Weddings. Busy, busy, busy!

Here's myself, my husband, and our English springer spaniel, Buddy posing for home made Christmas cards. We put doggie reindeer antlers on him and he froze...LOL. So cute!

We even had a Santa hat for him which we think he liked better

Luckily this year we got SNOW before Christmas so I was able to head out to the slopes with two of my fellow photographer friends, Heather McKay of McKay's Photography, and Kristina Juodyte of Photokisses. We had an amazing time and all know how lucky we are to get away from the computer for a little while during the winter months. It's kind of like teachers getting some time off during the summer after an intensive school year. We work and lose pretty much all of our weekends from April to December, so January to March is our time to play in the snow, make albums, and update all the business stuff we can't do during the summer when we're swamped.
It's so much fun having photography in common with each other too and we have a great time together. :)

We also had a few luncheon get together's to talk 'shop' and get out and about. We're a great group of professionals, and as a reference, we're all a part of The Greater Rochester Professional Photographers (www.grpp.org).

(I'm the 2nd one in from the left with the dark hair)

The tin I'm holding had home made chocolate covered pretzels that I separated into little holiday bags for them each to take home with them. I love to bake and I love to share and who doesn't love these tasty treats! :)

2008 was an amazing year and I'm looking forward to all that's ahead for 2009!
