Happy Engagement Molly and Mark!

I cannot wait to photograph Molly and Mark's Wedding in just a few weeks! I knew both of them at a previous job and I left there before they were a couple. I remember thinking though that they would be so cute together, and now here we are planning their Wedding day!
They were looking for a backdrop similar to Stony Brook park, and I knew of a great place that has that same kind of feeling; woodsy with a stream, a clearing, and even a playground! They are so adorable together and I'm so excited to celebrate with them on the Big Day!

Congratulations Sandra & Steve!!

We had a perfect sunny blue sky day for Sandra and Steve...I enjoyed the drive out to Victor where I first saw Sandra all ready to go in her gown ... she was beaming and so excited!
Her bridesmaids helped her with her shoes and veil and we had time to take some candids before making our way to the church.

Sandra and her mom were so sweet together ... I loved that Sandra helped her mom with her neclace...adorable.

Her mom and bridesmaid were right by Sandras side as she checked the mirror one last time...

Her dad was patiently waiting for her to come downstairs so he could see her all ready to go for the big day!

Just lovely...

We were ready to head off to the church for the ceremony ...
The guys were all hanging out, and seating the guests...all very handsome and having a great time.

The flowers were boxed up waiting for the girls ... the color scheme was beautiful brilliant blue and pink.

Before we knew it, the processional music started to play and all the attendants began coming down the aisle. It was beautiful. Sandra entered the room and all eyes were on her as she made her way to Steve...grinning from ear to ear.

The little flower girl was SO cute... she was walking around with a baggie filled with m&m's!

"Steven, you may now kiss your wife"

Congratulations!! Sandra and Steve were so excited and happy as they flew down the aisle and into hiding below the church. As everyone made their way to the reception, we took just a few formals inside the church ~ we saved most of them for another location.

They had COOL wheels to get around in too!

A special guest offered to let the Wedding party have their pictures taken in their back yard...this was NO ordinary back yard...it was beautifully landscaped with a waterfall flowing into a Koi pond with lavish greenery everywhere...complete with a sculpture of dancing frogs!

It was amazing and we got some great pictures thanks to this beautiful backdrop.

After the formals, we were off to the Green Lantern Inn in Fairport for the reception. The room was beautiful and the food was delicious! Toasts were made, and soon after, Sandra and Steve shared their first dance together as husband and wife.

Their cake was amazing...really tall, and the topper was so cute...little mice with wedding bands!

Everyone danced and they even did the limbo!

Congratulations Sandra and Steve! Your Wedding was so much fun and I wish you all the best in your new life together!

Congratulations Rebecca and Dennis!!

This particular Wedding was really special to me because the bride and I were classmates and friends while attending Nazareth College together! I hadn't seen her in so long and when she contacted me to do her Wedding I was truly honored and couldn't wait 'til the big day. As with all Weddings, it came and went so fast...but the pictures always bring everything back to us along with new emotions and details that may not have been experienced during the whirlwind of the day. When I first saw Rebecca at the church, I was overwhelmed with happiness for her...she was stunning and her smile couldn't have been any bigger.

Rebecca planned it so that we could get all the family formals done before the ceremony which led to more celebrating time at their reception ... so we began with lots of formals,

and before we knew it, the ceremony was upon us. Rebecca was walked down the aisle by her adorable daughter

The ceremony was beautiful...pure and simple.

Her daughter read an exerpt from Winnie the Pooh which touched all of us and after the ring exchange, Rebecca and Dennis were pronounced husband and wife! Congratulations!

We were lucky for a little bit with the weather...the rain held off just long enough for most of the receiving line ... but then suddenly the skies opened up and it POURED!

I got a few quick shots of her daughter, some guests, the flowers, and them outside the church before we all ran inside.

With umbrellas in hand, we all left the church and headed to Woodcliff for the cocktail hour and reception ~ they really do an amazing job there!

During the cocktail hour, guests were writing wishes and notes to the bride and groom ... such a cute idea; more elaborate than the guest book and some of the sweetest comments I've had the pleasure to see.

After getting a bunch of cocktail hour shots, and making sure my bride and groom had a chance to get some cocktails and snacks, we were lucky to get a break in the rain so we ran outside to the point to get some pictures as the sun was starting to set in the valley.

Isn't she so beautiful? She had such a unique dress too ...

Dennis was very handsome, and he had the coolest tie! It matched the design of their programs and the Wedding colors...

After the formals, we went back in for some more mingling and soon the introductions were made and Rebecca and Dennis went into their first dance together as husband and wife.

I loved the song they danced to; "The Luckiest" by Ben Folds. What an amazing song; the perfect first dance melody and lyrics.
Toasts were made, dinner was served, and before long the cake was cut!
mmmm!
It's been a while since I've seen the figures on top...so sweet!

Another storm rumbled through shortly after only this time, it was followed by a beautiful rainbow just outside the reception room! I grabbed a few pictures before the sun set.

Dinner was amazing, all the songs they choose were so much fun and everyone was having an amazing time. Rebecca danced with her daughter after dinner and then everyone joined in and the celebration lasted into the night!

Thank you Rebecca and Dennis! I was honored to be a part of your celebration and I'm so incredibly happy for you both!!
