Congratulations Laurie and Dave!

This couple is so cute together ... I photographed their Engagement session over the summer at Charlotte beach and really admired the ease of their relationship. So down to earth, and genuinely comfortable together...very sweet. When I first got to Laurie's house, she pulled up in a red truck after coming back from the hair salon. She was so cute when she opened the door... she had these huge sunglasses on and a smile from ear to ear!

We came inside and started photographing her getting ready with her mom.

One last look before heading off to Shadow Lake for a beautiful outdoor ceremony

David catches his first glimpse of his beautiful Bride as she begins her processional escorted by her father

What a beautiful setting for a Wedding ... all the hues and tones of Autumn and the pond too!

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Austin!

After the formals, we headed inside the tent for introductions, toasts, and dinner.
Their first dance as husband and wife
David's ring was so cool...I'd never seen one like this before...it was almost black and he said it was made out of a sort of gun metal material!

Wow, look at those colors...I can't imagine living somewhere without Autumn...it's my favorite time of year...until I get to go skiing !
:)

Laurie was just stunning ... and the light was amazing as the sun was starting to set

Their cake topper was the best ... David is a biker himself so it was perfectly fitting for them

Your Wedding was SO much fun Laurie and Dave! Thank you so much for this incredible honor ~ I had an amazing time and wish you both a lifetime of happiness!

Congratulations Alexis & Darren !

Another perfect September day for a Wedding ... perfectly overcast and warm. I started out the day by checking in with the Bride and her maids getting ready at the Strathallen Hotel. As soon as I got there, the champagne was popped,

and the girls finished getting their hair and makup done... Alexis planned to get her gown on once she was at the church to keep it from wrinkling on the drive. These girls were adorable and having a great time together!

Once they were all set, we headed over to a really sweet little chapel in the South Wedge. I've never been there before, but hope to go back. It had the tall candlesticks down the main aisle and I just love that! There was a private area for the Bride downstairs so we headed down there to get her ready. The gown was amazing, and HAND made and designed by one of her bridesmaids. Remarkable.

She even thought to sew "something blue" into the bottom of the inside of the dress...these little blue crystals.

Time to get ready!

Absolutely stunning ... and the happiest smile!
:)

Darren, the very handsome Groom waits outside with his groomsmen as they get their boutonniere's on and hang out together waiting for the ceremony to begin.

As the church fills with family and friends, the excitement begins to build!

Here she comes! Escorted down the aisle by her brother...so sweet.

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Vogt!!

Oh my gosh...she's completely adorable!

The whole Wedding party was hanging out on the street by the Limo having champagne and relaxing ...having a great time together...everything was perfectly paced...easy breezy.

Cheers to the new Mr. and Mrs.!

We headed over to the senior home where Darren works because he wanted to greet some of his favorite patients after the formals. They had a beautiful courtyard behind the hospital so we took all our formals there...it was the perfect setting.

This woman was my personal favorite...she was so adorable and sweet...she truly cared about Darren and was SO happy to see him all dressed up and with his Bride.

After visiting all his patients, we headed off to the reception at the Artisan Works ~ yay! I LOVE it there !

Sharing their first dance together as husband and wife

This is the new fire station section of Artisan works...it's an incredible addition and we had a blast getting a bunch of cool photographs in there!

There was no formal sit down dinner... it was so relaxed...just tons and tons of appetizers and finger foods...so there was lots of time for mingling and interaction with guests. I had a blast at this Wedding and was so excited to be a part of their festivities!

Alexis and Darren aren't cake people, so they had a FABULOUS chocolate fondue station! I had them dip something and feed it to each other for tradition...that was so cute! They insisted I have some, so I indulged in a chocolate strawberry ... oh my goodness... THANK YOU!
:)

Congratulations you two! I had an amazing time ~ your Wedding was so much fun !!
