Congratulations Vicky and Robby !

I was so excited to meet up with Robby and Vicky last week to take their Engagement pictures. We met at their brand new house first which was amazing...they designed it themselves and did a fantantastic job. Robby proposed to Vicky in their now living room, but back then it was just a frame of wood beams and cement. Very sweet. After getting a few shots at the house, we headed over to Webster Park. I love it there...lots of great backdrops including the White House, and rock inlet down below right on the water. It was a perfect night for the shoot ... no harsh sun...overcast with a cool breeze. I had so much fun with them and can't wait to see them on the big day! Congratulations Vicky and Robby!

Photographer for the Heart Gallery

This is my 2nd year photographing a child currently in foster care. The New York State Office of Children and Family Services put together this amazing opportunity for kids to be professionally photographed and then displayed at travelling shows for potential parents to see their warm smiles. I am so honored to be a part of this very special opportunity ~ they are all amazing kids!

To respect the privacy of the little boy I photographed, I can't put the whole picture, but imagine the happiness of this little boy just by looking at his beaming smile.
In case anyone reading has any wishes of adopting any one of these amazing kids, the link below will get you to the right contact people.

"As you tour the exhibit and learn about the hopes, dreams and interests of these children, may you be inspired to open your heart and your home to a child through mentoring, fostering, or adoption," said NYS Office of Children and Family Services Commissioner Gladys Carrión, Esq.

Upcoming shows:

July: Utica Public Library (315) 735-2279
August: Flower Memorial Library - Watertown (315) 785-7701
September 1-12: Beard Building Gallery at SUNY Cortland (607) 753-4928
October: Broome County Public Library - Binghamton (607) 778-6400
November: Onondaga County Court House - Syracuse (315) 671-2111
December: Tompkins Public Library- Ithaca (607) 272-4555

Muscular Dystrophy Fund Raiser

I was honored and excited to have been asked to help our our Muscular Dystrophy Association http://www.mda.org/ here in Rochester, NY last week. They were holding a fund raiser at the Geva Theatre http://www.gevatheatre.org/ and had many volunteers coming in to make calls for donations. There was so much excitement in the air every time a donation was made and the bell was sounded to alert the other callers ~ Congratulations to everyone on raising $65,000 for the kids to go to camp and to get the help they need!

Congratulations Kara and Matt!

I had the huge honor of photographing side by side with
Heather Mckay Photography this past weekend.
Thank You Heather! We even got a picture taken together
by a passing by groomsmen from another Wedding! Thanks!

My favorite things of the celebration were Matt and Kara's
incredible smiles, the Converse/Vans sneakers, Weezers "Buddy Holly",
and the Maid of Honor's speech where she summed them up perfectly:
"May you grow old together, but never grow up"
Congratulations Kara and Matt!

I'll have lots of updates within the next few weeks so definitely check back !

***************************
The festival has ended and am now going through all the pictures I took from the various events. I had an amazing time and hope you enjoy looking through this handful of pictures. I will post more as I continue going through the rest of them, but I wanted to put up the few of
Bill Pullman that I was lucky enough to get. He is SO cool !!

I hate to admit this, but I didn't know who Rita Moreno was until I looked her up on the internet...so for those of you who know her, she was a big hit at the festival too !
Here's a quick link to get acquainted with her history of photos, and bio:
Check back for more !!

A Disney Wedding !

I met this amazing couple, Jeff and Alison shortly before they were to be wed at Disney World. They decided they wanted to have a family reception here in NY for those who wouldn't be able to attend the actual ceremony in Florida. I was honored to have been chosen to capture the celebration for them !

The Disney details were so much fun, and they had a really nice time with their family and friends at the Belhurst Castle this April. Congratulations to you both !
Look closely at the engagement ring ~ it's the Mickey Mouse ears!
